Blastoff Launch SLAMMED
Blastoff has blasted off! (At least for the PPL Pre-Launch.)
…Wow, this is a huge, huge, huge launch nevertheless! If you attempt to go and sign up now you will find that the servers are very, very slow, and sometimes they drop you out entirely.
I happen to know that they have many huge tower servers in Dallas for this launch, with multiple backbone connections to their servers, so this is pretty unprecidented.
The CEO of Blastoff just tweeted recently:
We are experiencing amazingly high traffic right now. Hold tight – we will be running on all cylinders soon!
…So I guess there is nothing we can do but wait.
