			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Perhaps the best way to market your blastoff page is on a few, well-selected forums. I expect you won&#8217;t be the only one doing this, (to say the least) so if you&#8217;re going to do it, learn to do it right.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s another one of y old, favorite marketing films, this time on exactly how to accomplish your marketing goals with forums:<br />

<p>So in your specific case, be sure to link to your blastoff page, which looks like: http://ppl.blastoffnetwork.com/YourUserNameHere in your signature line. The film above mentions that this is &#8216;worth a try&#8217; but for our particular use today, signature line links are probably more like <em><strong>50%</strong></em> of the game.</p>
<p>Also, don&#8217;t be discouraged if many boards require you to post a couple or five posts without any signature links yet&#8230; Different forums have different ways of fighting spam.</p>
<p>In those instances, simply make all of your required posts as quickly as possible answering easy questions for others&#8230; They don&#8217;t even have to be on topic&#8230; It may be better to not be on topic, even. Just run through them quickly and leave a good impression for the admin/moderator. It&#8217;s worth it every time if you can get quality links from this site.</p>

<p>The very existence of this section is really confusing because it&#8217;s obviously made for the long-haul strategy, the Viral part of Blastoff&#8217;s marketing, yet it is not working. If you try to enter your details now, you get the following page:</p>

<p>So what&#8217;s a champing-at-the-bit, downline-building-hungry internet marketer to do?</p>
<p><strong>BUILD YOURSELF A LIST </strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s really not that hard to build a list of email subscribers&#8230; Services like Aweber, Constant Contact, or GetResponse will all make it extremely easy for you to plug a form into your website that builds your list for you. -All you really have to do is find a way to get people interested enough to opt-in to it.</p>
<p>So on your own website or blog, or even other places you control like a Squidoo lens, wordpress blog, Hubpage or Weebly site, place your opt-in form there, and ask people to join your &#8216;notification list&#8217; so that you will notify them immediately once Blastoff goes live.</p>
<p>When trying to refer others to Blastoff AFTER it finally launches, things change a bit. Using a list can still help you but not for the same reason. In fact it&#8217;s not recommended for most people after the launch.</p>
<p>Once that form above goes live, the best way to get Blastoff sign-ups will be to use the internal email invite system. (Which will also go live at the same time.)</p>
<p>Import all of your friends and family to Blastoff from services like facebook, gmail, myspace, and other web communities. They&#8217;ve gone through great trouble to make this the most powerful friend-inviter in the history of web 2.0, so you might as well use it to the fullest. Once logged into your Blastoff page, you can easily find it near the top of your internal page like this one:</p>

<p><strong>The Inviter System Limit Explained:</strong></p>
<p>There is a limit on how many invitations you can have pending at once. -Not just send at once, but in a pending state.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll be able to send invites out to up to 250 different email addresses at a time, from any source you can think of, (Yes, even uploading your own spreadsheet of email addresses!) but they all go towards your overall allotment of allowed invites out at once.</p>
<p>Yes, it&#8217;s a little confusing, but think of it this way. If you have 200 people in your facebook profile that you just sent invites to, and you want to send invites out to another 100 from your MySpace account, then that&#8217;s simply too many for now.</p>
<p>It appears that you&#8217;ll be able to IMPORT the 100 people from MySpace, but then only send invites to 50 of them, because that&#8217;s all the invite credits you&#8217;ll have left.</p>
<p>So how do you invite more than 250? There are two ways:</p>
<p><strong>1. You wait 2 weeks.</strong> Blastoff has said that all ignored invites will be renewed after a 2-week period. So 2 weeks after you sent those facebook invite to 200 people, you could send up to 250 more.</p>
<p><strong>2. Your invite is accepted by the recipient.</strong> If 50 of those facebook invites are immediately accepted, then you can send out all 100 of your myspace invites right away.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t have to use the inviter system, but you&#8217;ll find that blastoff makes it easy for you to do so, and better yet, getting your emails delivered with their system is much more assured&#8230; It&#8217;s pretty likely that spam detectors on commercial services like gmail and yahoo will throw this kind of email in their spam boxes unless it comes from blastoff themselves&#8230; Something that they are working hard on right now to ensure. (So hard that it is delaying the launch.)</p>
<p><strong>Other methods of getting Blastoff Downline</strong></p>
<p>As any Internet Marketer earning his or her keep can tell you, there are almost limitless ways for a creative person to get people to sign up under you at blastoff. A few major strategies that you could try include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Submitting articles to article directories and linking each to your blastoff page</li>
<li>Using safelists to blast out ads to your Blastoff page</li>
<li>Placing blog comments linking back to your Blastoff page</li>
<li>Creating forum comments with your signature link pointing to your Blastoff page</li>
<li>Creating a Viral eBook and linking it to your Blastoff page</li>
</ul>
<p>Each one of these methods will be a post on this blog. Even more will be added eventually.</p>
<p>The one thing you have to keep in mind about building a Blastoff downline is that no matter what method you take, you must make sure to start implementing it the very moment of the Launch or Pre-launch, and stop once the world has become saturated with Blastoff members. I can&#8217;t tell you how long this window of opportunity will last, but it won&#8217;t be years&#8230; Possibly a year at most, but more like just 3 or 5 months in total.</p>
<p>So naturally, using a method that takes a long time to build up momentum on is not desirable. You should in fact try ALL methods of getting Blastoff sign-ups, all at once, but for most people, tactics like the Viral eBook which takes a lot of time to build up critical mass aren&#8217;t worth it because the method doesn&#8217;t have a chance of delivering people right away&#8230; Months later it will do an awesome job, to be sure, but to catch that huge surge at the beginning it will fail every time.</p>

<p>Think about it&#8230; Articles about video games could link to your page and you&#8217;d have the matching blastoff video game set up as the default game. Or articles about some product or store could link to your blastoff Mall site, so they&#8217;d wind up shopping on your site and making you cash!</p>
<p>Blastoff is free, fun, impressive, and easily sells itself&#8230; Just get them to the page and you&#8217;ll see up to 25% of the people you get there convert into your downline.</p>
<p>So the sky is the limit. Now you can drive quality, well-targeted traffic to your Blastoff page, and the more articles you create and submit, the more traffic you&#8217;re sure to get there. Wash &amp; repeat as often as you like. If oyur goal is to build a huge downline in Blastoff, just do it before too much of the world has already signed up&#8230; For the next year we&#8217;re all racing the clock to get the rest of the world signed up underneath us.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This post will be the first in a series that shows you exact techniques to work your Blastoff business. Today&#8217;s post is about using safelists, which still work great for driving the kind of traffic that would sign up under you for Blastoff.</p>
<p>It is true that you wouldn&#8217;t want to SELL anything on a safelist, no one there is buying&#8230; But giving people a free account is easy no matter which audience you give it to!</p>
<p>The following film was made by myself over a year ago but still works perfectly for your needs. Unless you are already the king of all safelists, we highly recommend you take notes as you watch this video and consider this traffic-driving tactic one of your many secret weapons that we give you to build your Blastoff business with.</p>

<p>Once you have absorbed this knowledge and set up your own safelist email account(s), you simply need to use them to advertise your own Blastoff portal page&#8230; It does a pretty good job of selling itself with that film embedded into it for you&#8230; All you really have to do is introduce them to the concept of Blastoff, and in this case, focus upon the money they can make using it; the business side of Blastoff.</p>
<p>This is important&#8230; Don&#8217;t talk about your favorite part of the portal to these folks&#8230; Telling the safelist crowd about how they can watch Hulu there or set pretty backgrounds is a complete waste of your time&#8230; Safelist readers want to know about how to make money quickly. That&#8217;s your primary focus.</p>
<p>Assuming you&#8217;ve found a decent list, you should see traffic  trickle in with every posting. When you use many big lists to post on the same day you&#8217;re sure to get a few converts to your downline&#8230; Especially in the beginning now that so few people know about Blastoff.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you&#8217;ve ever been to a Blastoff Portal yet, at least before it&#8217;s October 12th pre-launch date, all of the portals so far have a huge square ad on the upper right-hand side for Pre-Paid Legal services, which is a direct sales company selling legal services on a pre-pay basis.</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t take a rocket scientists to see that there is some kind of connection between the two companies, so today I thought I&#8217;d explain exactly how the two are related.</p>
<p>Pre-Paid Legal has been around since 1972, and to date it&#8217;s been very successful, as far as any network marketing company (a.k.a. direct sales or MLM) goes. It&#8217;s even traded on the NYSE as PPD, which is doing great these days. Meanwhile Blastoff, which started out totally unrelated, was building its&#8217; portal a couple of years ago when it met with Pre-Paid Legal representatives to talk about a possible synergistic partnership.</p>
<p>What Blastoff could bring to the table was obvious; the perfect platform to make every home page  in the world theirs, which means the most valuable online real-estate on the web.</p>
<p>What Blastoff needed, however, was a way to distribute it quickly. Very quickly, before a competitor could copy and start to compete with it themselves. It wouldn&#8217;t be the first time this has happened.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s where Pre-Paid Legal (PPL) fits in, they have a huge network of associates that would be more than happy to spread the word about Blastoff. -In exchange for some of that valuable real estate:</p>

<p>Shown actual size, this large banner above will likely only be shown on the Blastoff portal pages of PPL Associates, as a tool to recruit their PPL downline.</p>
<p>This deal was struck to give all PPL associates access to Blastoff early and they&#8217;ve had it since September 13th, 2009. Since then they&#8217;ve all been rushing to get their existing PPL downlines into their Blastoff downlines and gathering their other lists of mailing addresses to start pushing it to the world on October 12th.</p>
<p>As of October 12th, PPL associates will have an advantages, especially since they are preparing for the push in advance. That is why we signed up with PPL, so that we could get this advance push time ourselves.</p>
<p>For the 14 days between October 12th and October 27th, anyone receiving an email invite from a PPL associate, or someone they recruited, can become a member and send invites to members themselves.</p>
<p>After this time three other organizations, the United Way, Pizza Hut, and the Dallas Cowboys all get similar deals of exclusivity from Blastoff too, but of course the cat is already out of the bag, at least as far as the email invites go.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, for coordinating this huge Launch on the 12th, Blastoff is giving PPL a huge gift of a link on every page, presumably forever, that looks like this:</p>

<p>This large link on the front of EVERY Blastoff portal is going to bring PPL a lifetime of free traffic that is roughly equivalent to purchasing the #3 AdWords spot from google&#8230; For every search term ever made!</p>
<p>All in all, I&#8217;d say it&#8217;s a match made in heaven, and both companies are going to do very, very well for this deal. If there was any doubt that PPL had enough exposure to become the #1 direct sales company of all time, that worry can be put to bed, and trampled on now. And if there was any worry that Blastoff could get enough initial momentum to go fully world-wide viral, PPL, all of you, and even Pizza Hut, the United Way, and the Dallas Cowboys will all ensure that this awesome portal is going to be the #1 most viewed web page online.</p>
<p>Since it will best operate as a home page, the collective portals of all Blastoff members should easily outpace YouTube, Yahoo, Facebook, and even Google  as the #1 site online by the end of the year.</p>
<p>Yes, you have really arrived in the right place at the right time. Be ready on the 12th!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Time to start planning your Blastoff recruitment strategy!</p>
<p>The only people who have access to Blastoff today is the Blastoff staff, and the Prepaid Legal (PPL) associates. Soon, that&#8217;s going to change, but it&#8217;s not going to be an all-or-nothing experience.</p>
<p>On October 12th, lasting until October 26th, all PPL associates will have the ability to use the system&#8217;s internal Email invites. It will let us invite groups of people up to 250 at a time, even uploaded from a spreadsheet or imported from places like hotmail, gmail, facebook, and LinkedIn.</p>
<p>It is one of these email invites that I am offering to the readers of this site, by filling in the form to the upper right.</p>
<p>Yes, before you ask, you most certainly will be able to do the same inside your accounts, sending emails out before the 26th yourselves after you get our invite.</p>
<p>However, that initial launch is not going to reach everyone, not even close. Conversions from invite to sign-up has been a steady 25% in both Google and yahoo test PPC campaigns. So, even if every PPL Associate invites 100 people, and they all invite 100 people, who all invite 100 more, (yeah, as if) we&#8217;re only talking about something approaching 78 Million Blastoff members&#8230; Which is far, far, far fewer people than are online today.</p>
<p>It is clearly Blastoff&#8217;s goal to get every last computer (and smartphone, I&#8217;d bet) to set its&#8217; desktop to their own Blastoff portal.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why they haven&#8217;t stopped with PPL. Next up Blastoff will be giving priority to the following three organizations:</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Pizza Hut</strong></li>
<li><strong>The United Way</strong></li>
<li><strong>The Dallas Cowboys</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>It appears that all three will get to start pushing on the 26th, although they may have their own periods of exclusivity each&#8230; The jury appears to still be out on that issue.</p>
<p>We also don&#8217;t know what date exactly that EVERYONE will have access, which would enable such marketing tactics activating a &#8220;join here&#8221; button on every blastoff members&#8217; homepage, and using Banners to refer members directly to sign up and enter their downline. Naturally, we are most keen on discovering this information, and are trying to wait patiently for Blastoff to respond to our queries about it.</p>
<p>That date may be on the 26th with the other organization&#8217;s push, or it may come later, say, by thanksgiving.</p>
<p>As for the date when you can start getting paid, that date has already arrived.</p>
<p>PPL associates (you can think of them as beta-testers) have already shopped through their own portals and gotten paid for it. They happily report that although the checks are only sent out once a month so far, it was on time and they had no problems. Some members were even allowed to recruit their family members for testing purposes and have reported getting paid 2nd-level commissions.</p>
<p>So it&#8217;s time now to get your ducks in a row and prepare to tell as many people as you can on the 12th, once you get your invite from me. I&#8217;ll be posting several resources on this blog to help you with that before the launch window, so stay tuned for those. Better yet, <a title="Blastoff Basics Feed" href="http://blastoffbasics.com/feed" target="_self">grab our feed</a> and don&#8217;t miss any of it!</p>
<p><strong>UPDATE:</strong> The New Launch Schedule starts on October 22nd for all PPL associates, but Pizza Hut (at least) has not moved it&#8217;s date and is still promoting Blastoff on Oct. 27th&#8230; So PPL associates no longer have 2 full weeks to promote exclusively. Even still, the overlap has been assured to have minimal, and perhaps a positive impact on us all by the PPL CEO.</p>
